The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared David Bitrus K. Barji as its senatorial candidate for the Plateau Central Senatorial District ahead of the upcoming legislative elections.
The announcement followed the conclusion of the APC Senatorial Primary Election held on Monday, May 18, 2026. According to the official Declaration of Result Form signed by the electoral officials, Barji secured a landslide victory, polling a staggering 57,727 votes to defeat six other aspirants in the race.
